To maximize efficiency, the organization must resolve the needs of strategic decision areas of operations management. Some of this strategic decisions are part of their Operations Planning system which include: Layout Design and Strategy, Location and Strategy, Job Design and Human Resource, Inventory Management and Maintenance.
